Well, Tiktok is at it again - giving us simple, delicious baking recipes that you can make it under an hour. This time, it's a jiggly, wobbly, sweet, and almost custard-like baked milk! With only four ingredients, this recipe is an absolute breeze to make.
Mix all ingredients and whisk it in a bowl. Ensure there are no lumps but don't whisk too hard. Alternatively, you can use a Kenwood kitchen machine on gentle speed.
Strain the mixture to take out any lumps. We want a smooth texture!
Cook on high heat in a saucepan for a few minutes, constantly stirring until you reach a thick consistency.
Cool the mixture slightly, pour into a medium-sized container, and refrigerate it for two hours.
By now it should have taken a more consistent form and you can slice it into smaller pieces. We like to make it bite-sized.
Gently arrange your milk squares onto a baking paper and brush with egg yolk. Pre-heat oven to 200C.
Bake for 18 mins at 200C.
