This simple brown rice snack is the ultimate in pure, guilt-free snacking. Brown rice is packed with magnesium, fibre and protein and in this recipe it stands alone. Without the added calories from additives, this snack is the perfect choice when you’re peckish for some crunchy snacking.
Cook brown rice in boiling water until fully done.
Season with salt and pepper and mix.
Preheat oven to 160ºC.
Take a small amount of rice mix and roll into a ball, place onto baking tray and repeat until all mix is used.
Place baking tray in oven and bake for 20 minutes.
(Optional) Deep fry the rice puffs in hot oil for a crispier texture.
