We love cinnamon rolls, but it isn’t always easy to get them unless you head to a specialty bakery or cafe. Today, we have a homemade cinnamon roll recipe, courtesy of Malaque Mahdaly – you’ll be devouring these sweet, fluffy rolls in no time!

Cream all the ingredients together and set aside.
Mix the ingredients altogether.
Mix and knead in the mixer for about 8-10 mins. Start with slow speed for the first 2 minutes, then increase the speed to medium for the next 4 minutes. Go at high speed for the last 2 minutes. The dough should be smooth and not stick to the sides of the bowl. Tip: Avoid direct contact of the salt and yeast together.
In a separate bowl, lightly brush some oil and put the dough into the oiled bowl and cover. Let the dough rest for 1h 15 min or until the dough is almost double in volume.
Roll out the dough onto a well-floured surface.
Spread butter, sugar and cinnamon powder. Roll tightly and cut into 8-10 pieces.
Bake in a preheated oven for 18-20 minutes at 175 degrees celsius.
Cool it down and drizzle the glaze over the buns.
